## Tomatoes
Planted 6 'Sungold' cherry tomatoes on May 3. Water deeply every 2-3 days; more in heat waves.
Yellow lower leaves in July were early blight: removed affected leaves and mulched with straw.

## Herbs
Basil hates the cold. Bring it inside when nights drop below 10°C.
Mint is planted in a pot on purpose: it spreads aggressively in beds.

## Ideas for next year
Try a drip irrigation kit on a timer, and grow 'Cherokee Purple' tomatoes.
